Zilker Park Engagement Session

I’m excited to share Audra and Parker’s Zilker Park engagement session on the blog today. This was photographed in the summer when temperatures were hitting triple digits every day, so we agreed to meet in the early morning to take advantage of the nicer time of day. (I have really enjoyed moving sessions to the mornings during the summer – the light is just as lovely as golden hour and it’s nice to start my day meeting with my amazing clients!) Generally it is best to schedule sessions to avoid shooting when the sun is directly overhead. Any other time of day truly can be made beautiful. Though I do love the soft light of mornings and evenings!

Even if we had met in the late afternoon during the hottest time of day, I think Audra and Parker would have been just as lovely and fun as they were during this session! These two are so incredibly easy going and they are so precious together!! They value a good time and just enjoying the moment, which makes something like an engagement session more of a fun experience than just taking pictures. We had such a fun time walking around Zilker Park and Barton Springs. They chatted it up with passersby and seriously just had a fun time. And can we take a moment to just say how beautiful Audra is and how cute her outfit choices are? I loved the little pop of color in her linen dress and her white matching set was such a great compliment as well.

They are two of the loveliest hearts and I cannot wait until their wedding next May at Villa Antonia! It is going to be so beautiful and fun!
