Sarah + Andrew

About Sarah and Andrew

If you’d like a pre-curser snap shot into Sarah and Andrew, then you have to go and take a quick peek at their joyful, organic engagement session. These two are quite literally all smiles, all the time. What’s fun is that their story is very similar to my and my husband’s story. They met and spent a lot of time working together at a summer camp. Kenton and I spent a good portion of our early years of marriage working at a summer camp, so when I met with Sarah for the first time and listened to their really sweet love story, I knew instantly we’d click, if alone due to our camp related similarities! But that’s not the only reason I love these two. They are the most genuine, joyful, Jesus loving people and their wedding day was such a celebration of their love for each other, but also the Lord.

Black Tie Wedding at Lost Mission

Speaking of their wedding at Lost Mission, it was classic, joyful, and so so upbeat. Sarah wanted their wedding day to have a black tie feel, so she chose the ever ageless color palette of black and white for florals and decor. I loved her simple, round bouquet by Flourish FD Studio — it was so timeless and elegant. These are words that can also describe Sarah’s bridal look. Her natural, glowing make up look by Think Brink Beauty was so perfectly flattering to her already beautiful features.

When it came time for their ceremony, Sarah and Andrew celebrated their union through worship music and prayer, all leading up to a super cute kiss right at the end of the aisle. And because Lost Mission has church bells, they also go to ring those after their walk up the aisle. The photo of them walking away from the bell rope is one of my favorites of the day – their faces tell it all!

Some highlights of the reception have to be the beautiful head table that planner Botkin Creative had such a hand in executing, as well as the four tier classic cake by The Cake Shop. But I’m not sure anything could out-do their ridiculous reception exit with streamers! It was the perfect fun, crazy exit for these two smiley souls!
