This Laguna Gloria wedding editorial is what makes me pinch myself about getting to be an Austin wedding photographer!
As an Austin wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of exploring some of the most dreamy locations in this unique city. Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with an exceptional team of talented vendors for an editorial photoshoot of a Laguna Gloria wedding. This picturesque venue (truly one of my very favorite locations to shoot in Austin) provided the perfect backdrop for a whimsical editorial.
One of the highlights of this editorial was the floral arrangements created by my sweet friend Happy by MP. (You may recognize her from other projects we’ve done together, including this one at The Wayback). Each arrangement was a magical masterpiece, bursting with an array of vibrant colors and unique blooms. From the peonies only bouquet (ugh, love) to delicate floral installations, her creations added a colorful, etherial touch to every frame.
Complementing the floral designs, Chassie of Crown of Glory Beauty worked her magic with clean, minimal bridal makeup. Her philosophy of enhancing natural beauty for a radiant and effortless look shone through in every detail. Our model glowed with a subtle, ethereal beauty, exuding timeless charm amidst the picturesque setting.
Behind the scenes, Betts and Co. flawlessly orchestrated the design and planning of the shoot. Her attention to detail and creativity was evident in the cohesive and visually stunning vision she brought to life. The patterns!!! I am just in love with the patterns for the table and the details. From selecting the perfect accessories to curating a harmonious color palette, her expertise made every aspect of the editorial shine. Working with Betts and Co. was an absolute joy, as her passion and excitement to her craft was evident in every decision she made.
Participating in editorial photoshoots like this one is not only a creative outlet for me as an Austin wedding photographer, but it also allows me to constantly push the boundaries of my work and generate fresh ideas when working with my couples. Collaborating with talented vendors ignites my creativity and inspires me to capture moments that are more and more reflective of my desire to deliver galleries to my clients that are timeless yet fresh, organic yet glimmering, and reflective of the joy and fun they had on one of the biggest days of their lives.
I also shot some film at this editorial! Here are a few of those images:
