If I had to boil Alexiz and Phillip down to one word it would be gracious. They are literally two of the most gracious people I’ve ever met. But that’s only if I had to only use one word. And good thing I’m not limited to one word descriptions in this blog post because they also deserve these words as well: kind, hilarious, easy going, not worried about things that don’t matter, sincere, thoughtful, joyful, loving, others centered, delightful. I really could go on. These two are simply the dearest humans and together they are the most amazing power couple. Canyonwood Ridge Spring Wedding

Alexiz and Phillip’s Canyonwood Ridge spring wedding was on one of those blooming spring days when you’re not sure if it’ll end in spring storms or a vibrant sunset. The unpredictability of the weather did nothing to impact either of their moods, however, because they were both all smiles all day. (No doubt knowing that their planner Amanda of Amanda Blue Events was all over the radar gave them loads of peace.)

When it came time for their ceremony, Alexiz and Phillip celebrated their union under the most magnificent and colorful floral arch crafted by Wild Bunches Floral. What was amazing about that arch is that it had a special moment at the ceremony and reception, because during cocktail hour it was able to be relocated to the reception hall to make the cake table all the more whimsical. After sweet vows, Alexiz and Phillip walked down the aisle as husband wife and promptly had a private dance party celebration in the bridal suite. GOSH I love these two.

One highlight of the day has to be Alexiz’ first look with her dad. She couldn’t help but break down into tears and I just love all the photos of his huge smile. Another highlight for me was Phillip’s groomsmen and family photo time before the ceremony. Phillip was so happy during that portion of the day and getting to see all his favorite people celebrate him before the ceremony was really special.

CONGRATS Alexiz + Phillip!

The evening ended with a scorched dance floor and a super cute sparkler reception exit where the couple road off in a vintage getaway car. I just love the photos of them waving goodbye! I had so much fun shooting this wedding for these two and I’ll never be over the beauty of it all. Congrats, A+P!
