Colorful Hill Country Wedding | The Lodge at Hill Country Cottages

One of my favorite things about being an Austin, Texas wedding photographer has got to be the generosity of the hill country. The landscape gives and gives no matter the season. Long golden grasses every spring and fall, wildflowers persisting throughout the summer, rolling hills, and always the oaks! Megan and Dyllan got quite the best of the Texas hill country palette in their early summer wedding, which happens to perfectly match their fun, colorful personalities!

Megan and Dyllan picked their venue, The Lodge at Hill Country Cottages, to give their wedding day all that Texas wide open spaces has to offer. These two are simply at home being outside, and their outdoor ceremony and reception were the perfect fit for them. The day began with blush, was happily attended by family and friends, and hemmed in by acres of live oaks. Drinks and dancing unfolded under bulb lights and the most temperate summer evening. And never before has a grand march looked so much fun or been able to loop in so many guests!
