Commons Ford Senior Session | Austin Portrait Photographer

Tan lines, cowboy boots, chippy black nail polish, August light — we had all the vibes for Elise’s sun soaked lakeside Senior Portrait Session at Commons Ford in Austin, Texas. I think my favorite thing about this session is it really just felt like playtime! Meandering through the expanse of this hill country escape with Elise and her mom (Wendy – who are old friends of mine!) was a treat.

We marveled at the fluffy white flowers, splashed in the lake, and enjoyed a cool late summer morning. I left feeling so refreshed and inspired! Yes, by the beauty of Austin and Elise, but wow definitely by those bell bottoms Elise selected for her second outfit. I must find some. Hopefully they’ll look as fun on me as they do on her? Doubtful, but the playful feeling she exudes in them makes me want to try some out! Regardless, Elise exudes a cheerful, carefree feeling constantly, so the jeans were just the cherry on top.

I wish sweet Elise all the joy and excitement as she heads off to Arkansas for college this week – she’ll take all the happy vibes with her so no doubt anyone she meets will get soaked in sunshine, too!
