What a journey these two have been on, and here I am now, writing their blog post about their Le San Michele wedding and remembering (with the biggest smile on my face) how completely perfect their wedding weekend was — finally! Lynne and Ryan waited over a year to celebrate their marriage with their family and friends. After postponing in 2020, after a (VERY!) rained out session on their original wedding date, after countless setbacks and trials, the smiles you see in these photos are so completely genuine and full of real joy! There are not two people more deserving of all the celebrating these two enjoyed at their Tuscan inspired, wildflower filled, outdoor wedding in Austin!
Even without an extra year to plan and prep, Lynne and Ryan had such inspired vision for their wedding. But add in some all the additional waiting and planning, and the day just got more beautiful! The thing about these two is that they will always choose to celebrate others before themselves, and so completely whole heartedly and genuinely. They turn their big moments into opportunities to bless their friends and family, they include everyone in the joy, and they make it look so good, too! Thoughtfulness was in abundance all weekend long. I mean, they showed up to our initial meeting (back in 2019 — crazy!) and brought caramel chocolate candies because they read on my website that they’re my favorite. The words they gushed over guests at the rehearsal dinner and wedding, they gifts they spent time and energy making so special, the elements on the wedding day they put so much thought into to ensure everyone had the best possible time… I could go on and on.
The long awaited, dream day began with pre-ceremony prep and a joyful first look at the JW downtown and ended at Le San Michele with a s’mores bar and dancing under bulb lights with pansies blooming from every nook and cranny of the venue. The moments in between featured beautiful and timeless white florals by Wild Bunches, Lynne’s custom dress (gorgeous!) by Winnie Couture, the three cutest four legged guests (one belonging to the bride and groom and two belonging to Magnolia Events), and a ceremony with more laughter than I’ve ever seen. In all the waiting for this day, never did I imagine it could have gone so completely beautifully, which is exactly what Lynne and Ryan deserved! Congrats you two! You DID it!! So much love!!
