Colorful, Floral Filled Spring Wedding

Get ready for a lot of joy and a world of spring color! Amy and Tate’s colorful, floral filled wedding day was SO fun! She and Tate are the most fun, exuberant couple and their wedding day was packed with so many hilarious, endearing moments as well as so much of sweetness. (For one of my favorite funny moments, definitely scroll to see the photo of Amy and Tate walking out of the chapel right after they got married!)

When planning for their day, Amy was super excited to incorporate bright, vibrant florals in, as she joyfully described them, “all the colors!” The technicolor blooms perfectly reflect her fun, luminous personality, and to really let those florals have their moment, she chose a cool blue for her bridesmaid dresses and a soft navy for the gentleman, which perfectly suited the bright blooms and showcased their happy tones! Pops of blue thistle woven throughout the bouquets and boutonnieres really tied their wedding colors together in a seamless palette filled with the full color spectrum. In another thoughtful touch, Amy and Tate’s invitations, replete with water color florals and a venue sketch, were beautifully hand painted and designed by Amy’s sister in law. I also have to say how much I love the little touch of glam that Amy added to her bridal look with the hair piece! 

So much of this day was unique and special. Amy and Tate exchanged notes before the ceremony and had a private first touch, Amy’s dad officiated the wedding (which made for some really sweet moments during the ceremony), and honest to goodness, I have not seen a bride dance so hard during the reception! Amy was so excited to dance with all of her friends and honestly I don’t normally share as many reception images on blog posts as I did in this one! Amy and Tate and their friends and family danced so much that I just had to share a few more than I normally do! I think you’ll be glad I did! 🙂

This day was such a fun, joy-filled day to be a part of and I’m so grateful I got to be Amy and Tate’s wedding photographer! Congrats, Amy and Tate! You two are the absolute best!
