Where do I even begin with this Pace Bend Park Engagement Session with Jaclyn and Carson? Probably with how insanely adorable they are, right? Or maybe with her perfect outfit choices? No, we’ve gotta go with the beautiful light we had all day, don’t you think? Or maybe I should just gush in depth about all of it because honestly, I could talk about this session for hours!

About Jaclyn & Carson

To start things off, Jaclyn and Carson wanted beach vibes for their engagement session. The beach is one of Jac’s very favorite places, but the problem with central Texas is that… well, we’re in the middle! No beaches near enough for a quick shoot. Except… at Pace Bend Park. And can I venture to say that a the lake beach is so much more enjoyable than an ocean beach? I mean, I’d vote fresh water over salt water all day! But what really makes Pace Bend Park so amazing is not only the beach views, but the park also boasts amazing oak groves and super epic cliffs. Needless to say, it was the perfect location for J + C’s session!

Jaclyn and Carson met while doing youth ministry together at Jaclyn’s home church in Austin. They love Jesus, the beach, and Chick-Fil-A. (But I mean.. who doesn’t?) And I also just have to share…. Jaclyn was one of my high school Seniors back in 2019! And yes… I found her blog post. *Cue the tears.* So getting to document her engagements and wedding means so, so much to me. Especially when I hear her and Carson talk about their relationship, which we did a lot during their session. They love each other so much and just can’t wait to be a family. Their wedding at HighPointe Estate this winter is going to be SUCH a highlight of my work in 2022, and I really can’t wait!
