TWO Zilker Park blog posts in two days?! I. Am. Blessed. And honestly, this senior session was SO. MUCH. FUN. !!!
First of all, Jaclyn is just GLOWING. This Vandegrift Senior is bubbly, fun, and down for anything. When I asked if she’d be down to splash around in Barton Springs she was totally game. I don’t think there are many things she wouldn’t be down for! This girl is a good hang. She is thoughtful and kind and her laugh (which you get to hear often around her) makes you feel good inside, like everything in life you’re a little stressed about is going to work out just fine! And speaking of stress, Senior Year can definitely give your chill vibes a run for their money. But that hasn’t phased Jaclyn. She’s got a handful of schools she’s applied to and she’s trusting it will all end up the way it needs to. I think I need to take some notes from Jaclyn’s peace of mind – how is this girl only a Senior in high school?! She’s wise beyond her years!
Jaclyn wanted her Senior Portrait Session to feel like “Austin,” so what better locations to choose than Barton Springs and Zilker Park? These are two iconic spots in Austin and they make Jaclyn’s photos so fun and epic! It is so wild to photograph a Senior at Barton Springs and Zilker Park, because like I mentioned about yesterday, these spots are my old high school stomping grounds! I remember so many of my Senior play days started at Zilker and ended at Sno Beach and Taco Cabana in South Austin. There’s just something magical and nostalgic about Zilker Park, even if it’s not your old high school stomping grounds! People hang, dogs play, the grass is green and the trees provide just the right amount of shade for a picnic blanket big enough for you and your best friends. And, it’s also a dang good spot for a happy, sunny, summery Senior Portrait Session! 🙂
Congrats Jaclyn! Senior Year stress has nothing on you. Watch out world, because this big smile is about to go out and conquer, all the while spreading happy everywhere she goes!
