About Kimberly and Thomas

Kimberly and Thomas are the most fun!!!! They wanted their winter wedding at Canyonwood Ridge to be a fun, joyful celebration with their closest family and friends! And to make it a bit whimsical, they added a touch of Christmas because they got married the week before Christmas! As a result, their day was filled with Christmas whimsy like tiny pinecones, a Christmas tree behind the cake, and garland throughout the venue. Kimberly picked a soft, romantic color palette of neutrals paired with black and white that really made the Christmas touches glimmer. There were so many fun and special moments from this sweet, December day in Austin, and all of their guests had a delightful time celebrating this super fun and lovely couple!

Canyonwood Ridge Wedding

Because Kimberly and Thomas wanted to add personal touches to their day, Kimberly herself created their paper goods. The invitation suite as beautiful! They also added fun personal touches by having an Austin staple cater (Taco Deli — yum) and even Tiff’s Treats for dessert (double yum)! Additionally, Kimberly and Thomas appointed their nephews to be ring bearers for the ceremony, and they took the job very seriously (scroll to see the cuteness). Another unique detail of this day were the beautiful florals by The Farmer and I. In lieu of standard bouquets for all the girls, each bridesmaid held one white rose. This resulted in chic, stunning photos with all of those ladies! Lastly, I think one detail Kimberly and Thomas planned that everyone thoroughly enjoyed was the live band during the reception — the dance floor was hopping from start to finish!

What a DAY this was! Such a joy, such a party! Thank you for letting me dance the night away with you K + T! I’d do it again and again!
