McKinney Falls Engagement Session

It was a day of the best light for this engagement session at McKinney Falls for Andrea and Carson! There is a warm glow in all of this day that I just really love. It’s so fun when couples like to be a little adventurous and shoot their engagement session somewhere beautiful and expansive. What a perfect location to bring the dog (sweet Leo!) and kick off your shoes to enjoy the cool waters. Isn’t Leo so beautiful? He was so well behaved the entire shoot, and I think my favorite Leo moments are when we finally got to the water. He ran right in and even laid down to get a nice soak in the river. He’s such a good boy and Andrea and Carson love him so much. 

Andrea and Carson met in college and have been together for 6 years. They are the sweetest companions (just look at how he looks at her in these photos) and Andrea describes their relationship with the quote: “love is friendship set on fire.” They are getting married this May at St. Mary’s in Brenham and Deep In The Heart Farms. They’re planning a lovely celebration with family and friends with the lovely Morgan of Morgan Marie Events, and I just can’t wait! St. Mary’s in Brenham has the most beautiful archways and brick exterior that I really look forward to shooting, and of course I’m a such fan of the lovely Deep in the Heart Farms. They have such a nice variety of locations to use on property for photos. Every wedding I shoot there feels like a new day! This one will be no different. 

Congrats again, A+C! It will be so easy to celebrate you two!
