Boy oh boy do we have some romance and color for you guys today! So excited to share Savanna and Will’s super fun and colorful Pedernales Falls Engagement Session with you today. These two really trusted me during their session and were so down for all of my ideas. They loved that we shot at such a beautiful location and we really timed it right so that we got that amazing fall color for their session!

When I began planning with these two, I asked, as I do with all of my couples, for them to share a little bit about what they enjoy doing with one another, what their interests are, etc. When it kept coming up that they love the outdoors and enjoy trails and a nice hill country moment, I knew Pedernales Falls would be a great fit for them. The park is truly huge, so being willing and able to walk a bit is pretty crucial if you want to shoot here, and these two were so down!

As for getting the timing right with these amazing fall colors, I just thank the Lord, truly! Catching the “fall” look in Austin is not easy honestly. It really depends on what summer did and when the cool weather will arrive. (Which sometimes feels like never, haha.) But the fall color window is pretty short in the Austin area, so when we arrived and my suspicions were confirmed that the cypress trees were red, gosh was I excited!

So so thrilled to share these two precious people with you today. Their love and sweetness and affection for one another is truly tangible through the images. They are truly just excited to become a family. One I can’t wait to celebrate so soon at Addison Grove!
