ABOUT Jaclyn AND Carson

You might remember J + C from their epic Pace Bend engagement session. Well, here is part two of their story: their HighPointe Estate Austin wedding! These two are quite literally all smiles, all the time. They are so dear to me. I have known Jaclyn and her family for what feels like her whole life, so to get to be the one to document her wedding day was beyond special. Jaclyn and Carson met while serving as leaders at our church’s youth camp, and the rest fell into place shortly after. This couple is simply the most gracious, kind, joy-filled couple and their entire day was such a glowing representation of their lovely hearts, and also their love for the Lord. It was beyond magical!

BLACK TIE WEDDING AT HIGH POINTE ESTATE

Jaclyn and Carson’s HighPointe Estate Wedding was on a crisp, sunny winter day and Jaclyn went with a classic palette of black and white. Her bridesmaids (can you count them all?!) wore all black with simple bouquets of baby’s breath. (Don’t we love that baby’s breath has made a come back?) The incredible florals team at HighPointe Estate created an amazing dance floor installation with baby’s breath and disco balls, which made the dance party beyond fun.

When it came time for their ceremony, Jaclyn and Carson celebrated their union through worship music and prayer, all leading up to a super high energy walk out that was so, so them. This ceremony was particularly special for me because my dad, who has been Jaclyn’s pastor her whole life, officiated their wedding. This was only the second wedding we’ve gotten to do together so it was very fun and special!

One highlight of the day has to be Jaclyn’s special getting ready time with her sweet momma, Connie. Connie and Jaclyn have a special book that Connie used to read to Jaclyn when she was little, so Connie and Jaclyn had one more reading of that book together alone in the bridal suite before the ceremony, and it was the absolute dearest thing to get to witness. Another highlights for me were Carson’s groomsmen praying over him and just the ridiculous joy bomb that was the reception and reception exit that J+C literally ran through!

If I were to recount all of the things I loved about this day it would take far too many words, so I’ll just start sharing the images and let them speak for me! I had so much fun shooting this wedding for these two and I’ll never be over the beauty of it all. Congrats, J+C!
