Recently I was going through my website checking backlinks and saw the link for “personal” posts on my blog. Curious, I clicked through and it has been two years since I posted a blog post I thought was “personal.” Ha.

So this is me righting that a bit with a very loosey goosey blog post to share some updates and personal tidbits just for fun.

Recent things: I have picked up horseback riding lessons lately and it has been so life giving! I grew up riding horses and so getting to do this now in my early thirties is such a treat. I’m riding a horse named Derby (he’s my mom’s pony!) and he’s precious. She got him last August and he charmed his way into our hearts easily. I took photos for her a few months back and that was really fun.

Something else I’ve been doing is playing with film a little bit. My father in law gave me his old Olympus OM-1 and I’ve enjoyed learning the new medium. It’s nice to take photos just for the fun of it and not need them to meet any standards or even be any good! It’s just for fun, which is fun!
