I couldn’t be more excited to finally share this beautiful wedding at The Ice Plant Building! I had been looking forward to Lesley and Jerome’s wedding for a long time for so many reasons. For starters, Leslie and Jerome are so great! They make everything feel fun and easy! As you’ll see, Lesley smile is also incredibly contagious. They have known each other for years and years, and they were so excited to finally get married and celebrate with their friends and family. Plus, they have two Golden Doodles just like me and Kenton. So we always had lots to chat about!

The Ice Plant Building Wedding Details

I’d also been so excited about this wedding because it was my first time to get to shoot at a new venue outside Austin, The Ice Plant Building. I knew I’d love it and I was right. It’s gorgeous. I love the grey concrete – it’s such a pretty neutral backdrop and the courtyard with all of the planters and trees is such a happy place for photos and cocktail hour! Lesley and Jerome made their wedding day special with a fresh summer color palette of blush, blue, cream and sage green. And the navy bridesmaid dresses made the Bloom Bar florals pop, too! Their planner, Pamela Sparks, did such a fabulous job planning details. The seating chart install is one of my favorite details. It was unique an colorful with a touch of modern.

After a fun cocktail hour replete with cocktails named after their dogs, the couple made their grand entrance into the reception. After a fun first dance, guests danced the night away and sent the couple off with a sparkler exit.

PS – When you get to the bridal party photos, please study find the ring bearer in the two photos that are almost identical. He replicates a motion one of the groomsmen does at the other end of the line and it is LITERALLY the cutest thing ever!
