Sometimes rainy days can be such a drag. But not this week! This week our big rainy day got a dose of happy because my brother and sister in law and my nephew Caleb made a spontaneous trip to Austin. And as luck would have it, my sister Sara just happened to be in Austin, too. 🙂

We hung out around the house, stepped around puddles in the the backyard, and basically just watched Caleb be fun and adorable all day. He loves to wave hi, climb on everything, and is full of joyful, precocious spunk. It’s hard to have a bad day when he’s around.

It was a really sweet reprieve from long days in quarantine and I don’t even want to say too much more about it, because the pictures tell the story of our cozy family day so much better. 🙂
