Oh, take me to the hill country, any time, any day. I know this is how Rachael and John feel, too. Their dream is to settle down in a home on some land, and we share that dream! So it was very fitting that they selected a location for their engagement session in the heart of the hill country, replete with the lake, tall grasses, hills, and of course a big silver moon hanging over a pink sunset. We were all quite at home here, and it made their session so completely dreamy!

Rachael and John are currently doing the distance thing, planning their wedding from two different states. This made their engagement session even more special (because they finally got to be together!) and it will make their wedding day later this year even more important. They’re so looking forward to finally doing life together, and let me tell you, these two will be a great team. They compliment each other so well and honestly they just have a ton of fun together. They were so relaxed and down to earth the whole session and I just love how their photos turned out. And good grief isn’t Rachael’s dress just the perfect rusty red color? It carried wind like a dream, too.
