Warm sun, delicate blush florals with pops of auburn, touches of navy and emerald green, and oh, that lace-rimmed veil on Kathryn’s beautiful brown tresses! Wow this wedding is just so beautiful. I don’t know how it couldn’t have been beautiful, because the couple in question, well, they’re the absolute greatest.
The first time I sat down with Kathryn and Seth over a coffee I was immediately struck with how real and down to earth they are. They are so genuine and not materialistic at all, and they really wanted their wedding day to be a reflection of their faith and their love for their family and friends. All day long they were so chill and in the moment. Kathryn’s sweet smile seasons all of these photos with so much grace, and I feel like you can actually feel Seth’s sense of calm when you see the photos of him. These two are just so, so grounded, and when you’re around them YOU actually feel grounded, too. How cool is that?! They have so much inner peace that you actually feel it yourself. What a gift. I can’t even imagine how their partnership in marriage will bless people moving forward.
Something special about Kathryn and Seth’s wedding day is that they got ready at a house in Navasota that is really special to them, which was special to me because we lived just a few blocks away from that house for 3 years before we moved back to Austin! It’s this beautiful three story Victorian home with all of the stories to go with it. And now, one more story for the books of that home is Kathryn and Seth’s wedding day. Watching her get dressed by those big beautiful windows and walk down those super epic, Victorian stairs was just wayyyy to amazing, not to mention their moment of prayer on the wrap around porch!
Getting to shoot this day for Kathryn and Seth was such an honor, and I’m so, so grateful to know them! From these sweet pops of emerald green in the details (Kathryn’s favorite color!) to their super smiley first dance as a married couple, I’m just so in love with this couple and this wedding. Congrats Kathryn and Seth!
