I could just live this day over and over again! This timeless, sunny wedding day in Round Top Texas was such a dream! I mean, there are just so many things I could say. Not only is Henkel Square one of my very favorite places in Texas (just wait until you see Henkel Hall and Haw Creek Chapel), but it’s Jeremy and Joanna’s favorite place, too! They specifically chose Round Top for their wedding because it’s a special place to them and it’s part of their love story, which is so so meaningful that they got married there! And not only was the setting so lovely, but spending time Joanna and Jeremy and their precious family and friends was literally a delight. I mean I want to hang out with them all the time!

Something very beautiful about this couple is that Joanna and Jeremy really love their people and they care for others so selflessly. Multiple times during the wedding day I found each of them taking care of others, like when Joanna’s son Rye needed his shoe tied and she propped his foot up on her wedding dress to help him, or when Jeremy helped each of the boys tend to their ties, or when both of them urged us to eat something and rest during dinner… these two just care about other people!!! And their family just makes you feel like you’re part of the crew!  They just bring you into their atmosphere and take you along for the ride. It was just so life-giving to be around this sweet family and this couple who was so about others on their own wedding day. The feeling all day was relaxed and happy, a tone that was set right off the bat with dance parties in the bridal suite and Uno in the groom suite. I’ll also never forget how hard the entire reception laughed when a song Rye had requested came on. After about 10 seconds of plucky country sounding melody the tune dropped into heavy rap…and everyone just lost it!

From their fairytale first look under fern covered oaks (with that white chapel as a backdrop, eek!) to their fun, unique bird-seed exit, this was a special day for a special couple! All their months of hard work prepping and planning paid off in a highly enjoyable, stunning, timeless wedding day in Round Top Texas.
